Sad news for BuriGuri fans all over the world. It seems the brilliant green’s team of three has decreased to two due to their guitarist leaving the band.

The news of Ryo Matsui’s leave was announced on the brilliant green’s website and reasons for his departure weren’t revealed. But don’t despair you BuriGuri fans out there. The band is not disbanding! Vocalist Tomoko Kawase and bassist Shunsaku Okuda will continue as a married duo for now (Phew!).

I’m shocked by this news. I really love BuriGuri’s music and now that their guitarist is gone, what would the music sound like? Probably not too different but I’m going to miss seeing the trio together in music videos and performances. Good luck to Ryo Matsui and the modified the brilliant green!
