I don’t know about you guys, but to me, Pokemon is a timeless series that really never gets old. It was a part of my childhood, and to this day, I still get excited when I hear about Pokemon. The new Pokemon movie, Phantom Ruler: Zoark, is coming to Japan on July 10th, and some new footage has just been shown on the Japanese television show, Pokemon Sunday.

Here’s a little summary of the thirteenth installment in the Pokemon movie series:

Celebi sees Raikou, Entei, and Suicune fighting in the future and in an attempt to prevent it, Celebi travels through time to the past. Zoroark transforms into the legendary beasts as well as a shadow version of Ash Ketchum. A wild Tangrowth also appears in the movie as Pikachu’s friend.

The new footage shown is of a new fifth generation Pokemon, called Zoark. Zoark has an ability called “Illusion,” which is also new to the fifth generation. Check out Illusion in action in both the new footage and the trailer below:

*sigh* It will be a sad day when they stop making Pokemon.
