Wang Xianjun is a 54 year-old-man living in China who is known for having light bulbs as part of his diet. Oh, how yummy.
It all happened 42 years ago when Wang accidently swallowed a fish bone. Nothing happened to him when he swallowed it so out of curiosity, he tried pieces of glass. And again, nothing happened. Since then, for some strange reason, Wang has been eating one light bulb per day for the last 42 years (that equals more than 15,000 bulbs).
He eats only one bulb during breakfast with a glass of water. Surprisingly, no negative side effects have appeared from his consumption of bulbs.
His reason for eating light bulbs? They’re “crispy and delicious.” I guess I understand the crispy part but delicious? There are tons of breakfast food out there that are both crispy and delicious too. I guess light bulbs have a distinct “taste.”
