Have you seen an anime movie 99 times in local theaters and then watched it for the hundredth time in another country? No one can be credited with his “accomplishment” except for one Japanese otaku who saw The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya movie 99 times in Japan and the 100th time in the USA.

Well, to tell the truth, he didn’t watch it 100 times…..yet. He plans on going to San Francisco to attend VIZ Cinema’s screening of the movie today.

The guy posted a few pictures of proof of this feat showing his flight itinerary to San Francisco, his movie reservation confirmation and a stack of movie tickets and film strips he bought from the showings.

Pretty impressive though I wouldn’t spend that much money to rewatch a movie 100 times.

He also plans on giving out some of the film strips he got from previous showings to the attendees of the Viz Cinema screening. How nice and cool of him!
