Earlier this week, news of the Pussy Cat Dolls new line-up broke in the celeb gossip blogosphere. The new line up from L-R, consists of Kherrington Payne (So You Think You Can Dance) Vanessa Curry (former Laker Girl/Kobe Bryant affair suspect), Jamie Lee Ruiz (Girlicious), Rino Nakasone-Razalan (former Beat Freak and Harajuku Girl) and Nicole. That makes 2 Asians, maybe 3, in PCD.

Maybe 3 , you say? Sorry to say guys, I didn’t make the PCD cut. Wanted to let Nicole have all the fame and glory, yanno? (Just kidding.) Vanessa Curry may be the third Asian — a few other sources claim she’s half Filipino.

Will they be a hit again? Who knows. I’m not sure why people insist on calling them the Pussy Cat Dolls and not Nicole Scherzinger and Her Back Up Dancers. As happy as I am for Rino, it seems like she’s gone from Gwen’s back-up dancer, to Beat Freak dancer, to now Nicole’s back up dancer. In a nutshell, she needs all your support!

Lastly, for all you Filipinos — seems to me Rino married a Filipino. ‘Razalan,’ much?
