Since the departure of Wonder Girl Sunmi at the end of February earlier this year, both the remaining members and the new member have been pretty hushed up about the situation. Well, the silence will be broken in an upcoming episode of KBS Win Win.

The episode, set to air soon, reveals that Sunmi was often lonely and somewhat depressed while in the United States. The pressure of being away from her family and friends as well as the strange new settings caused her culminating decision to temporarily withdraw from the group. “Our life is being a singer, but Sunmi’s happiness is more important.”

Poor Sunmi. If she was suffering that much, then I guess it was the natural next move for her to ask for a leave from the group. Hopefully she’s happy where she is right now. In the meanwhile, let’s continue supporting the Wonder Girls and hope for the best!
