Japanese cult films will never cease to amaze me with all the gore they let loose. Gothic & Lolita Psycho doesn’t disappoint in that area and this time, the heroine is donning a gothic lolita dress.

From the people that brought you Geisha versus Ninja and the effects of Tokyo Gore Police comes a story about an ordinary girl who turns extraordinary when her mother is assassinated. She takes up the gothic lolita style and uses her parasol as a deadly weapon (it can even shoot out bullets or become a sharp blade) to get revenge on those who killed her mother.

Sounds like a fun movie but isn’t the type that I like to watch. It’s too gory for my tastes.

Here’s the trailer but be warned: This trailer contains a lot of blood and gore. Seriously, the amount of blood in this trailer could fill up a swimming pool….okay, okay. Maybe not a swimming pool and more like a bathtub. That’s still a whole lotta blood though.

I have never watched Japanese Horror movies but I have a friend that may just find this interesting.  She loves them.  I find it quite interesting too.  There are some lines I recognised from the Big O anime and the movie Spawn.  To me, Ninja Assassin was just as gory but I LOVED it. smile
