Last week, a multinational investigation revealed that it was a North Korean submarine torpedo that caused the tragic death of forty-six sailors in the sinking of the South Korean Cheonan warship. North Korea has responded to these allegations and has stated that the sinking of the ship was not their fault, and was, in fact, staged.
“The South Korean puppet regime’s faked sinking of the Cheonan has created a very serious situation on the Korean peninsula, pushing it towards the brink of war,” Major General Pak Rim Su, director of the department of policy at the National Defense Commission, told a news conference in Pyongyang, according to broadcaster APTN. In summary, North Korea believes that the Cheonan ship sinking was a national ploy to get the necessary pressure required to spur action from the United Nations as well as other countries that are currently anti-North Korea.
What do I think? Well, I think this is a clear case of HORSE BOLOGNA! North Korea is notorious for its constant political deflections and fabrications, and this is obviously a ploy to gain sympathy from outside countries. North Korea, as much as it would like to deny it, is not ready to butt military heads with the rest of the world, but this attempt to blow this off as some sort of conspiracy is frankly sickening.
