Prizes, Prizes, Prizes - Now Daily!

Ningin gave out an awesometastic 72 prizes in the month of May! Doing that math, that’s nearly 2.5 prizes a day. So it occurred to us that we can handle daily prizes pretty easily. How many Asian news site can make that claim? YesAsia has been a big reason for this accounting for 1/4 of our giveaway items. You won’t find any better site for Asian stuff than YesAsia! In June, we’re going to continue our generous ways by giving out slightly more than one prize a day. This is how we’re gonna do it:

On Sundays - we give out EXP prizes or prizes to the most active users on Ningin for the past week. The winner will be chosen from the top 5 users of each week via a slightly random process.

On Mondays - we have our F’ing giveaways. Generally we give out albums and other big stuff.

On Tuesday - we have our Twitter giveaways. Generally, we give out posters but it could be anything.

On Wednesday - we’ll be doing one-day competitive tournaments. It may be flash games or something else. Depending on the game, we’ll either give the prize to a random person or the highest scorer. It’s basically the equivalent of a 1-day Decathlon. More details later.

On Thursdays - we have our YesAsia giveaway. Sometimes we give out two prizes on this day! It’s generally something very valuable like DVDs, photobooks, and entire kdrama sets!

On Fridays - we reward our top users by giving out a prize to one random user with a level 10 or higher account. You’ll see how we do this starting 6/11.

On Saturdays - same as Wednesday.

But wait there’s more!

Every week there will be some sort of MLG match that will have a prize attached to it like the upcoming KPOP Battles: DBSK vs Big Bang. And 1-2 times a month we’ll give out an autographed prize.

Sometime in July or possibly August, I hope to begin an exciting new feature - trading EXP points for prizes. This is a big thing and we’ll get into details about it later, but here’s a brief overview: It’ll be an auction system where you can bid Auction Points for prizes. Highest bidder gets the prize and the amount they bid will be taken from their Auction Point account. What’s Auction Points? I’ll explain later. For now, you just need to start earning EXP - I’m telling you now so that you can get a head start. This is only going to be available for level 10+ users so start leveling folks! Hopefully in the next couple of weeks, there will be some major new additions to Ningin and major new ways to earn EXP.

As mentioned many times before, there will be no more flash gaming Decathlons. But we’ll be doing different kinds of competitive contests soon enough.

All this sounds good right? That’s great, but here’s an important caveat. The main reason we’ll able to do this is because Ningin’s growth has been skyrocketing the past few months. So let’s keep it up by telling all your friends to join Ningin!
