Super Junior’s youngest member, KyuHyun, has had symptoms of an inflammation in the middle ear for years now, but after a doctor’s recommendation, he’ll be going into surgery this week, halting his promotional activities for Bonamana while he recovers. Better late than never, right?

Super Junior will continue promoting “Bonamana” this week on Music Bank and Music Core without KyuHyun. He’ll be going into surgery for what is formally referred to as tympanitis and will remain hospitalized for 3 to 4 days in recovery.

KyuHyun’s condition recently worsened, therefore his doctor recommended he get the surgery now before he continues his hectic schedule this year to avoid any further damage to his ear. His health will be monitored carefully before it’s decided that he’s okay to go back on stage.

At least he’s getting the treatment now. Hope the surgery goes smoothly and get well soon!
