Things got a little messy last year between DBSK and SM Entertainment. Since DBSK/Tohoshinki/TVXQ/whatever-you-wanna-call-them are no longer able to function as a band, JaeChunSu formed their own unit and had their official debut in Japan, live!
The “JUNSU/JEJUNG/YUCHUN THANKSGIVING LIVE IN DOME” concerts kicked off on June 5 in the Kyocera Dome in Osaka, Japan to a record breaking audience of 46,000 Cassies. Junsu and Jaejoong were quoted saying “A lot of people came, so I’m very happy,” “I was worried fans would not come. As long as everyone is smiling I want to do a very thankful performance.” Oh, you have nothing to worry about.
The trio performed a total of 18 songs, some of which included Junsu’s “Kanashimi no yukue” title song for Yoochun’s upcoming drama and a cover of Whitney Houston’s “I have Nothing”.
full audio of “I have Nothing”:
Junsu, Jaejoong and Yoochun will perform 3 more times, once more in Osaka on the 6th and on June 12 and 13 in the Tokyo Dome to an expected crowd of 200,000. Those numbers speak major volumes. DBSK have come a long way, and to see their fans support these three is amazing. Recently, I read a short phrase on Cassiopeia and DBSK: Introduced by destiny. Tested through time. Strengthened by FAITH. That right there says it all.
