Apparently SHINee’s Onew doesn’t know his own strength. Or is it the other way around? On a recent episode of KBS 2TV’s ‘Night Star’, Onew flicked a man on the forehead so hard, it actually produced a loud, snapping sound. Way to trademark yourself, Onew.

SHINee’s leader may look harmless, but appearances can be deceiving. While on set of Night Star, the MCs of the show took wild guesses at how many people would show up for an activity for those ‘scheduled to enlist within one month’. Onew was eventually announced as the winner and as such, celebrated by flicking his comrades on their foreheads.

The flick was so strong, that the man reportedly took a while to regain his senses (dang!). The cast described Onew’s hand as “Spicy,” a phrase used in Korea to express the brute strength and pain from a person’s hand. Onew, you have my respect, man. If you can knock out a man with the flick of a finger, you’ve just won yourself a bunch of street cred.
