As we all know Asian pop bands like 2PM come in large quantities. When it comes to the music, it’s safe to assess that some members will get much more lines than others, especially if there’s a significant margin in talent. But giving the lead vocalist a mere syllable in a entire song is just wrong. Case-in-point: Junsu of 2PM.
On the June 8 episode of SBS Strong Heart, 2PM’s Junsu expressed the unhappiness he felt regarding 2PM’s debut single ‘10 out of 10.’
Junsu said, “I have been a trainee for about 4 years after coming up to Seoul from DaeGoo. When I first received the song ’10 out of 10′, I really liked it, but Park JinYoung only gave me the part which goes ‘Yayyy~.’ “ he continues, “the whole song is about 3 minutes and 22 seconds, and my part was only ‘yayyy~’.”
Not only that, but he was hardly seen in their debut music video for ‘10 out of 10’:
No more worries, Junsu, you’ve come a long way from that ‘yayyy’ because you get so many more lines now.
