AKB48 is a Japanese all-female theater group that is composed of forty-eight members. You think SNSD has a hard time distributing their song parts? Well, move aside, because this unique group of performers leaves it up to a vote to see who will sing in which song!

I know it’s insane!! 48 members! Woww whoever knows all of their names are very true fans o.o


Having 48 members shouldn’t be too unusual since they’re a theater group and perform a lot in Akihabara. And they are split into sub-groups, so they’re not always together performing on stage. Still, there’s so much competition within the group. That’s tough. I hope I get to see them at Anime Expo this year.


Wow.. And I thought SJ with 13+2 members was already so much >< Finally got used to that amount and now I see there’s a group with 48 members, lol like whooaaat xd That’s almost 2 times the people in my class


48 members?!? :O Wow, that’s a lot. Hope they get to be all known. ^^ That’ll feel like one whole class, even more. x)


I am sure that the popularity changes as the votes would too at that time.  Wow...that is a lot of girls.  I am sure they have fun doing what they love.  Hope to see some vids from them to see what it is like when they are on stage. smile
