Recently, f(x)’s Krystal publicly apologized to SNSD’s YoonA about a matter that is not necessarily her fault. What happened?

A few weeks ago, Krystal completed her first solo project by co-starring with fellow singer Tei as lovers in Alex’s music drama ‘Melody (Moderato)’. However, it’s since been revealed that SNSD’s YoonA was originally assigned the role of the main heroine. Krystal only assumed the role because YoonA bailed out due to scheduling conflicts.

The young Krystal was accepted in the second round of casting due to her similarity to YoonA and the high school student vibe that she gave off. Though she obtained this position fair and square, Krystal still felt guilty and so she apologized to YoonA for essentially “taking” her role.

I like how honest and humble Krystal is regarding this matter. She can just let it go because no one really knew about YoonA’s original pick anyways but she would rather publicize it instead. I’m glad Krystal took the role, though, because she sang amazingly! I really love this song and I think YoonA’s voice wouldn’t live up to it as much (no offense).
