After promotions for her title song, “As A Man,” Gummy switched things up today on MBC Music Core and performed another song off of her Loveless album: “Because of You.” This is her first performance of the song on a music show (not counting her showcase). Keep reading to check out the video, as well as my rundown of the performance!

Already being a fan of the song, I didn’t think I could love this song any more; I was so painfully wrong. Coming out on stage, Gummy sported a sophisticated look with her hair cut short. I’m not really sure if she had her hair actually cut or if it’s a wig, but either way, she looks stunning.

Now, moving on to the vocals, I don’t think I can describe it with any word less than flawless. Gummy certainly has one of the most unique and powerful voices out there in the Korean pop music industry right now. Musically, this song is incredibly difficult to sing, and she pulls it off like it’s no one’s business.

Another high point of the performance: No random interpretive dance. It’s just Gummy, music and a microphone. Dare I say that it’s the perfect performance? Oh, yeah. This woman can do no wrong, and yet she hasn’t won any awards yet. Check it out below:

It’s an amazing album! If you’re in the mood for an epic night-drive in your car, then stick this in, roll down the windows, and let the music wash over you while you drive.
