The debut song “Push Push” from the new Starship group SISTAR disappointed me a lot. After the group was hyped up to be extremely talented, I find that Brave Brothers produced a song that simply wasted the talents of these four ladies. Well, there may be a glimmer of hope, because the group recently appeared on MBC Starry Nightradio and blew my mind.

Leader Hyorin and fellow member Soyu performed a cover of “Stand Up For Love” by Destiny’s Child. Many have already acknowledged that Hyorin is definitely a great singer, but after the debut of the group, Soyu seemed to the majority as a useless member of the group, not having very good vocals, despite already have proven herself in a Samsung CF.

Well, haters, take a step to the left, because Soyu definitely belts it out in this amazing cover. While I will say that she is not as good as Hyorin, she’s still a step above most girl group members out there right now in terms of vocal ability. Check it out!

So, Brave Brothers, how about we stop beating around the bush and start giving SISTAR some real songs?

Speechless.. they have some real talent!


They sound great here~! Really hope they will be able to show their talent with a better song than Push Push smile


Need to work on their Engrish but other than their voices are wow O_O Push Push was FAIL! Complete waste on their talent, could’ve definitely done better ... to me it wasn’t even that catchy =_=;

brave brothers totally wasted their voices to produce such a disappointing FAIL of a song. fire them ASAP!


they’re both really amazing singers and they’ve proved it before.
actually, soyu’s voice stood out more to me in this cover.
hyorin is confident and has good control of her voice though so that’s why her runs are really nice.
overall they did really great. i hope they’re able to showcase their vocals in upcoming singles or something.

Yes....please give them some songs that use their talents so that they won’t have to constantly have to do cover songs to prove themselves.  I do like “Push Push” but it was lacking the vocals.
