71: Into The Fire premiered in South Korean theaters on June 16th and instantly took the number one spot at the box office. The movie, starring T.O.P. from Big Bang, Kwon Sang Woo, Cha Seung Won and Kim Seung Woo, was directed by A Moment to Remember director Lee Jae Han.
The Korean film council has tallied up the sales, and it shows that the film attracted 114,131 people on its opening day. This means that The Office, which has been number one for two weeks now, has officially seen the end of its reign. The film is based on a true story and hits many Koreans hard as it tells the story of seventy-one student soldiers that fought in the Korean war.
I’ve heard good things about this movie. This is a must see!
