Autumn’s Concerto star Ady An revealed her love for Hermes Birkin bags and her thoughts about dating male celebrities.
Ady An was filled with excitement when she bought her first Hermes Birkin bag in the beginning of the year after being on her to-buy list for five years. It cost her NT$400,000 (~12,411 USD). She sure has expensive taste! However, she has only used the bag twice when she goes out. To her, her Hermes Birkin bag is like a goddess and she treats it that way. “I don’t take it out when I’m filming or when it’s raining outside.”
She has her eye on another Hermes Birkin bag, the grey and white crocodile-skin version which costs over a whopping NT$1,000,000. “I really can’t (buy it). I’m probably not fated to. I hope my future husband will buy it for me!” This mention of a husband led to a discussion about past love rumors and dating.
In the past, Ady has been rumored to date director Ke Qin-Zheng, Dylan Kuo, Huang Xiao-Ming, boss Huang Zung-Lei of Huayi Brothers Media Corp., Deng Chao and Zhang Bu-Jin (the former assistant of Legislator Hsieh Kuo-Liang).
Ady explains that director Ke Qin-Zheng and boss Huang Zung-Lei have taken really good care of her in the past. Huang Xiao-Ming and Deng Chao are just good friends of Ady. Zhang Bu-Jin gets the nickname “195″ because of his tall height (in centimeters). He’s like the body guard of her group of friends. When it comes to Dylan Kuo, Ady and him haven’t had any intimate time together. “Can we ‘delete’ Dylan Kuo off of the list of past love rumors? That one is really too out of this world.” She says that they haven’t even eaten dinner alone before and never made a single call to each other.
When it comes to dating male celebrities and costars, Ady says that is not likely to happen. “There are so many pretty girls around on the filming set, where you can’t even tell who’s flirting with whom. So why should I tire myself? I can only become friends with other male stars, (so that) regardless of how many girlfriends they have, it has nothing to do with me.”
Too bad. I thought she and Vanness Wu would make a cute couple. But that’s just me being super biased.
