If you thought the outfits for Orange Caramel’s Music Bank debut stage were bad, just wait until you see the outfits for their Music Core stage! The group sported lime green outfits yesterday, and for today’s appearance on Music Core, the group showed off their new neon orange suits.

The trio got some better reception on today’s performance (although I think it’s probably from all guys judging from the audience chants). Either way, everything about this performance just screams “Jpop.” The song, the outfits and the dance are definitely all Jpop throwbacks. There’s no doubt that this song is catchy, and I will admit that it is nice to actually hear what Nana and Lizzy sound like singing, but I’m still not loving the fact that Raina is stuck in this group. She seems very out of place. Check out the “Magic Girl” performance (and the outfits) below:

I agree this is totally jpop, but its something different in kpop.
I know its normal to have girls sing all high pitch like that but it really makes me cringe sometimes. That’s why i dont really listen to jpop >_<

That’s exactly what I thought! The concept is way too extreme for me… very JPOP.... I wish Raina did solo.. she would have been a great solo artist!
