Although most of the BEAST guys are older than the SHINee boys, they had no problem being humble and admitting that the idol group they most aspire to be like is SHINee.

BEAST recently visited the Philippines for their ‘K-pop meets P-pop’ show. While on the job, they had a brief press conference and fan meeting, where an interesting interview question came up, “Who are the bands that you look up to?”

The BEAST members replied, “We like the band SHINee because they collaborate well together, they’ve been so popular for awhile. We aspire to be like them.” Now that sounds quite surprising but since BEAST and SHINee are both good at dancing and singing ballads, I think this is rather an honest and reasonable answer!

Meanwhile, SHINee will make a comeback on July 9th.
