Jinra and I have been getting too many PMs and emails about issues with Pins and Prizes and it has become rather tedious to answer them one by one. So here we go, a post that we’ll be eternally redirecting you to.

Pins are given automatically. No human interaction on our part. You need to satisfy the criteria of the pin and do it within the time frame specified - the date when the pin announcement was published and the end date specified in the post. Your gaming score history shows the exact time that the score was received by Ningin in Eastern Standard Time. In fact, all times, on every page, are shown in EST on Ningin so that everything is consistent.

Understand that the scoreboard inside the game is not the same scoreboard Ningin uses. I wished it worked that way, but that is beyond our ability to control. So it doesn’t matter if you see your score higher in the in-game scoreboard. The only one that counts is the Ningin scoreboard.

For MLG matches you only get a pin if you actually recorded at least one score during the time frame of the match. The number one reason why you did not get a pin for a MLG match - you did not record a score during the time frame of a match. The number 2 is your team didn’t win. The number 3: you didn’t sign up.

We don’t delete scores ever. Not even fraudulent ones. It’s in our best interest to keep the scores of cheaters - they just don’t show up publicly.

There is no missing pin conspiracy.

The most useful yet least utilized friend here is your score history. Start using it.

I think I’m going to start deducting EXP the next time someone asks me about their pin and their score history does not show they deserve one - kinda like the NFL red flag challenge system.

Prizes take a lot of time to process. We have to contact the winner. We need to verify identity and address (you can thank cheaters for this one). We have to update our accounting. We have to package and ship. Then they need to actually travel from our post office to your house. Sometimes this is done in one week. Sometimes it takes up to 8 weeks. Sometimes the prizes come from a 3rd party which significantly adds to the processing. If you live in a non-North American country expect shipping to take 1-2 months longer. Poster tubes take a longer than normal time to ship.

To summarize, it takes anywhere from 1-8 weeks for you to receive your prize. Add another 4-8 weeks if you’re living outside of the USA.

We had 72 giveaways in the month of May. 72!!! That’s a lot of stuff to process, package, and ship.

FYI, It hasn’t even been 6 weeks since the Super Junior Decathlon has ended.

I think I might have to deduct EXP the next time people ask us if their prize has shipped before the 8-week mark.

Lastly, Jinra and I oversee the entire network of sites that Ningin belongs to. Ningin isn’t our only responsibility. You guys are only slowing us down if we keep having to respond to your PM’s and emails.
