June marks the mid-year mark and what other way to celebrate than to gather every Kpop idol for a grand special! With cover performances, collaborations and all the hits since January, KBS Music Bank delivered a jammed-packed show this week. Sit back and enjoy!

Ladies first, right? Here’s KARA to kick things off with their 2010 hit, ‘Lupin.’ “as usual, it’s miiiine…”

Who can forget SNSD’s smash hit, ‘Oh!‘?

Here’s T-ara’s ‘I Go Crazy Because of You.’ Who’s crazy about this song?

YG Entertainment’s solo vocalists Gummy put on another fantastic performance of ‘Because of You.’

Speaking of solo vocalists, here’s ex Jewelry member, Seo In Young performing her latest single, ‘Write Love and Call it Pain.’ She may be a little nasal driven, but it still sounds good.

Amber may have minimal singing parts, but for some reason f(x) looked a little plain without her. The dynamics are just not there for me in this performance of NU ABO.

After School put on another great performance of ‘Bang!.’ I still love the middle 8 to this song.

And here’s one of two female collaborations for Music Bank’s mid year special! Have fun listening to Lee Hyori’s ‘Chitti Chitti Bang Bang‘ with KARA’s Gyuri, Seungyeon and Jiyoung, T-ara’s Jiyeon and Hyomin, f(x)’s Sulli and Luna, and 4minute’s Jiyoon and Hyuna. Did they do the original justice?

The second special stage was a cover of Green Day’s ‘21 Guns‘ by Gummy, Hwayobi and Lyn. All three ladies can sing, but their styles are all very different, so it sounded a tad weird for me. Between you and me, Gummy should’ve knocked those two off the stage and taken this on on her own. Just saying.

Now, to kick things off for the guys is 2PM performing ‘Without U.’ I really liked the club vibe for some reason.

CN Blue brought back their January hit, ‘I’m a Loner‘ and even added in ‘Love.’ Nicely, done guys!

I had forgot how much I liked 2AM’s ‘Even if I Die, I can’t Let Go‘! Such a good song…

And can’t forget about Super Junior’s ‘Bonamana.’ Good news everyone, Kyuhyun is back! …and Siwon is gone…bummer.

The guys put on a special stage as well. Super Junior’s Shindong and Eunhyuk, 2PM’s Nichkhun and Chansung, and 2AM’s Jokwon took on Rain’s ‘Love Song‘. Cue the swooning.

Lastly, a mixed group of members from all sorts of idol bands came together for a cover of Kelly Clarkson’s ‘My Life Would Suck Without You‘.

Wow. That was a lot. In the spirit of celebration, one group had the number one song in the first half of 2010. Who won? Check the video below and find out!

It came down to SNSD and 2AM, but in the end the ladies of SNSD took home the win with Oh! Congrats, girls!
