Shonen Gangan’s July issue sold out, thanks to the ending of a great manga/anime series Fullmetal Alchemist. However, this issue sold out so quickly that many FMA fans couldn’t get their hands on it which prompted Square Enix (the publisher of Shonen Gangan) to republish the last chapter in their September issue, coming out on August 12. How thoughtful of them!

The quick sales and the no-reprinting policy has already made this issue of Shonen Gangan super rare. Some people are even selling them at jacked-up prices (though it would be awesome to have the last issue FMA was in, I think I wouldn’t pay more than the magazine’s original price).

What else can we expect from an awesome series like Fullmetal Alchemist? I can’t wait until the last volume hits U.S. shelves. I heard the ending was very good!

I used to love it!


I actually watched the anime first before reading this because of a friend’s suggestion. I stopped reading for awhile when there were no more updates but then continued when I saw that it was actually completed. Makes me feel sad actually that one of the most awesome and epic mangas out there has just ended.

wow, i’m not surprised at all, coz fma is a very popular manga. ahhh, i only wish they sell shonen gangan here, i would have loved a copy too! i’ve been reading this manga for years, and the ending was really good and satisfying ^^

i haven’t read fma on manga but i’ve watched it on tv.
there’s a station here that features fma, hmmm. i’ll find time to watch it.

I’ve actually never read Fullmetal Alchemist, though I always hear good reviews about it :$ People should make special cafés for lending out animés for a reasonable prize, so that people don’t have to buy it for such jacked-up prizes.


damnnn...i thought fma was awesome, but the fact that a lot of people didnt get this issue is sad.
i can already see the jacked up prices and people actually buying them, lol


oh yes!! I read the last chapter!! it was soooo good and touching.. I can’t believe it’s already over T_T my favorite manga/anime!!
