In July, Japanese video game publisher, Capcom (Devil May Cry, Street Fighter, Resident Evil), will open up Capcom Seaside House, a themed shop and restaurant area located on the beaches of Kamakura, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. The area will be only be opened in the summer from July 1 to August 31 and will include three different facilities:
Capcom Seaside Shop
Sells over 80 original Capcom goods, including items that can only be obtained here.
Monster Hunter Kitchen
Sells drinks, food and sweets.
Capcom Seaside Cafe
Enjoy coffee, tea and orange juice while watching trailer footage for Okamiden, Ghost Trick, Sengoku Basara 3, Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G, Last Ranker, Monster Hunter Diary, and Mega Man Zero Collection.
I wonder if the staff will cosplay as Capcom characters? That would be cool. I want to check this place out but it’s only in Japan! And for a limited time too. That lessens my chances of ever setting foot on the premises. Square Enix should do a similar concept but open it here on the beaches of California…
