It has been proven through TV ratings and fan responses that 2PM’s Nichkhun and f(x)’s Victoria have definitely become a new hot couple of the SBS variety show ‘We Got Married’.

According to AGB Media Research, the ratings for the June 26th episode of ‘We Got Married’ (the couple’s first episode) rose from 12.9% to 15.5%. Even though the show has tough competition airing at the same time, ‘We Got Married’ was the most watched show for that particular airing time.

Although it was the first appearance of Nichkhun and Victoria couple, there were a lot of expectations that emerged because they were a “foreign couple” (Nichkhun is Thai and Victoria is Chinese). Also, other couples were anticipated such as Jokwon and Gain, and Seohyun and Yonghwa.

Here’s a little recap of the first episode:

Nichkhun boarded a special wedding bus to meet his wife whom he’d never met before. Once he arrived at his destination, a group of congratulating guests appeared and Nichkhun sought to find his wife in the crowd. He was then given a secret passcode in finding his ‘real wife’ and finally he found his way to f(x)’s Victoria at 63 Building. And at the moment when he finally found his ‘real wife,’ Nichkhun was seen with a smile, unable to contain his happiness. The two then went on their first date on the roof of 63 Building. They were seen without awkwardness and started their ‘married life’ on a good note.
