It’s recently been reported that former AKB48 member Rina Nakanishi is making her debut in the adult video industry. She will undergo an extreme persona change and will be known by her new stage name, Rico Yamaguchi.

Nakanishi graduated from AKB48 back in November 2008. On June 6th, she blogged about returning to her hometown to “take a break.” Well, it looks like she was doing more than just “taking a break,” because it was confirmed on June 25th that Nakanishi was indeed entering the AV industry when naked photos of her appeared in the FRIDAY magazine. Shortly after, the AV company Alice Japan announced the debut of the a new AV star named Rico Yamaguchi. It is reported that a nude photo book will be released in July and the DVD is set to go on sale in August.

Well… I guess fame can take you to all sorts of places, huh? I personally think that if that’s what she wants to do with her life, then why not let her? Sure, some people (or a lot of people…) might not approve, but it’s her choice, right?
