Can’t get enough of James Cameron’s Avatar movie? Why not try reading the pictoral story of Alianya, a Chinese rendition of Cameron’s hit movie. It was created to attract tourists to come to Xishuangbanna, an area in China that most resembles Avatar’s fictional world of Pandora. Alianya has a few differences from the actual Avatar movie but the overall theme of saving nature and appreciating it, is left intact. I thought this version was neat and provided an interesting read. My main reason for reading the story was to understand the pictures that accompanied it. Here are a few to pique your interest.
