Not long before SS501’s leader Kim Hyun Joong made his move to Key East Entertainment, member Park Jung Min also has signed up with Taiwan Sony Music in order to pursue his solo music career there.
Although it is true that he is the only one who signed up, this doesn’t necessarily mean Jung Min will stop performing with the other three SS501 members in Korea.
An official revealed, “Park Jung Min has signed an exclusive contract with Taiwan Sony Music. This was done before Kim Hyun Joong moved to Bae Yong Joon’s agency Key East.” With news that Park JungMin and Kim Hyun Joong will be doing their solo activities, there are great interests as to the future plans for the rest of the members Heo Yong Saeng, Kim Kyu Jong and Kim Hyung Joon.
On the other hand, SS501’s maknae Kim Hyung Joon, who is the DJ on SBS ‘Music High’ radio show, said, “In the future, I will continue DJ-ing.”
It’s heartbreaking to see one of my most favorite boy groups go like this. I hope that even if the members go solo fulfill their own dreams, they will still perform as the awesome group that they are. Keep hope!
