Taiwanese singer Jay Chou has often found himself dabbling in many facets of entertainment. In 2007, Jay directed a movie entitled Secret. With Jay also playing the lead role in the film, Secret attracted many fans and was quite a success. Well, Jay recently revealed that a sequel to the film might be on the horizon!

During a party in Beijing in commemoration of the raging success of his most recent album, The Era, Jay revealed that “If the box office is good for The Green Hornet, there might be a sequel, Secret 2 will be a completely new story, I’m writing the script right now, the male lead and director will still be me.”

While this is good news for fans of the original movie, I personally am indifferent. I have seen Secret, and, honestly, I really didn’t like it. Jay Chou’s acting, to me, is very, very awkward. The premise of the film was good, but I just don’t think it was executed as smoothly as it could have been.

Anyone looking forward to this?

wow he’s a director too? no wonder he’s huge in Taiwan. A singer,director~


eeeh I havent seen the first one, tho I’ve been meaning to watch it.
If there is a 2 woots for him and the fans of the movie.


The Green Hornet seems cool, I will definitely watch this in the cinema in Netherlands^^ I’m sure my Mom will love seeing Jay in western movies as well hehe


Hmm. I really liked the first one. I just would not like him to be the lead actor again especially since it’s a sequel. I think it would confuse things

Usually when you have a vision, you want to see someone else act out that vision.  Guess not in his case.  I have not seen the first movie so I can not really give an opinion on his acting.
