The new Korean girl group SISTAR had a pretty mixed reaction when their debut song, “Push Push,” hit the public. Despite many saying that their talents were wasted, it still looks like the song caught on with many people, recently winning the group the Cyworld Rookie of the Month award!
The group commented that, “We are very thankful for receiving the award. We will not forget what we are always fighting for and will continue to work hard.” With a firm foothold now in the music industry, will the girls be able to sing songs that more accurately portray their talents? Or will the group be forever doomed to singing catchy songs? Let’s hope for the former.
Either way, congratulations to SISTAR!
