Fans have been raving ever since the release of Tae Yang’s Solar album. With his smooth vocals and sexy dance skills, Tae Yang melted the hearts of the crowd today on M! Countdown, taking the number one spot!

In addition to performing his title track, “I Need A Girl,” Tae Yang also performed the ballad from his album, entitled “You’re My.” I’m not a real big fan of “You’re My,” because, frankly, Tae Yang should never try to sing in falsetto for extended periods of time. It just sounds awful. “I Need A Girl,” on the other hand, is a song that I do enjoy, but I’m a little disappointed at his performances. I find that he usually actually sings less than half of the song. To me, he’s a little like Rain in that respect: too focused on dancing.

Either way, Tae Yang did come out on top at the end of the day. Check out the performances and winning video below:
