Two movies I just can’t wait to see, Kimi ni Todoke and BECK, have finally released full length trailers. Yes, you read that right. These videos last more than a minute. Bye, bye 30 second teasers!

Both the BECK and Kimi ni Todoke movies are based on a manga series by the same names. Kimi ni Todoke is about a girl’s journey in making new friends (and enemies) and potentially finding a new love. Oh, and people are scared of her because she looks like Sadako from The Ring. Sounds cliche but its an adorable series. I recommend checking it out. BECK is about a boy who discovers his hidden talent for the guitar and his adventures in forming a band and finding success. I haven’t read BECK but its sounds interesting and the trailer looks awesome (plus I’ve heard good things about it).

First up is the Kimi ni Todoke trailer.

Now it’s BECK’s turn to shine.

BECK will hit theaters on September 3 and Kimi ni Todoke will get screen time on September 25. Of course, these dates reflect the Japanese release dates. Hopefully some kind of release will come later this year or next year in the US (either on DVD or limited theater run).
