An Indian mystic and his female companion kidnapped a one-year-old toddler, beheaded him and drank his blood in order to attain magical powers. Yeah, I know. How ridiculous.

Abdul Gafoor and Ramala Beevi buried the child’s torso and head in two separate places in Tamil Nadu, India. When police recovered the torso, it was wrapped in red cloth and buried with a garland of beads and a portrait of Hindu goddess Kali.

What prompted such brutality towards an innocent child (besides Gafoor’s desire for magical powers)? He was supposedly instructed to do it as a sacrifice….from a dream.

Poor child. Dying for such selfish reasons and murdered in such a horrible way (Gafoor slashed his throat to drink his blood). I hope Gafoor gets his just desserts in court.
