After 14 years since the anime ended, Gundam Wing is getting a new manga series based on its epic OAV Endless Waltz.
Known as Gundam W: Endless Waltz: The Glory of the Defeated, the new manga wil be illustrated by Tomofumi Ogasawara (Gundam Seed novelization) and written by Katsuyuki Sumisawa, the main script writer of the original anime.
I think Gundam Wing is one of the few Gundam series that anyone could enjoy whether they like mechs or not. It has plenty of character and story development to balance out the action and robotic testosterone.
I’m happy and excited to hear that the Gundam Wing franchise is continuing. Gundam Wing is one of the shows that really got me into anime (back when I was a young ‘un) so it has a special place in my heart. Makes me want to cry out of frustration and sadness that Cartoon Network dropped the TV block that dominated most of my childhood: Toonami (the block that aired GW).
