From the producers of KPOP Battles and KPOP Decathlons, comes a new series by Ningin.com: KPOP Idol-Off! This tournaments stars Nichkhun of 2PM with a strong supporting cast from members of Super Junior, DBSK, and a handful of idols from SHINee, SNSD, Big Bang, 2NE1, and Lee Joon of MBLAQ. The contestants were selected and ranked from a poll of your favorite KPOP Idols that we asked earlier.

Expect bigger and better EXP; more pins than a TGI Fridays’ waitress; 25 KPOP prizes and hidden Reward Points!

There will be a total of 23 matches over the next four months. Bookmark this post as we’ll be continually updating it with dates and results!

Structure:
Each KPOP Idol match will consist of 7 flash games. Whichever team wins 4 of 7 games wins the match this advancing their beloved idol into the next round. As a reward for their devotion, the winning team will get 100 EXP, a special virtual pin, and a chance to win one of the 25 available prizes for each match. Additional rules for this contest:

1. Losing team will not receive any EXP points.

2. Winning team will receive EXP points based on the odds of the match which is determined by the amount of participants. i.e. Team A has 150 players and Team B has 50 players, should Team B win, Team B will get 300 EXP instead of the normal 100. If Team A wins, they will still get 100 EXP. This gives underdog teams a bigger incentive to do well.

3. Certain games will be marked with the tag “(Reward Points)” and the players finishing first on both team gets 2 Reward Points for winning that game.

4. You can make bets using EXP for each match! For the 72 hours preceding each match, there will be an option to bet on the winner. The amount of EXP wagered will be based on the round of the match with later rounds earning you more EXP should you win.
