There’s good news and bad news for Namie Amuro. She recently released a single called Break It/Get Myself Back that is selling quite well. Obviously that’s the good news. The bad news is that people are accusing her of copying fellow JPOP artist Ayumi Hamasaki.

So what exactly did Namie copy? Well, take a look below.

I don’t know what these people have been smoking but I’m pretty sure the album’s designer wasn’t actually trying to copy Ayumi. I can’t think of any celebrities or photo shoots from the top of my head but I know I’ve seen this kind of pose done before by various people. I’m not even sure if Ayumi was the first person to pose like that in a box-like background. This is just another example of netizens overreacting (probably started by an anti-fan or an Ayumi extremist).
