Rain’s unsuccessful online clothing store Six to Five is currently having a massive online sale to sell off all of their clothes before closing down, after which there will be no more business. Launched in 2008, the website gained great awareness because singer Rain was announced as its top designer. This made Six to Five confident that they could nail more than a million dollars a year, which they guaranteed at their launching event.

However, this was not to be the case for the failed, 2 year old company. Six to Five were defeated when it came to the agressive clothing market. Rather than dominating the market, the company slipped and fell despite having a superstar as its main designer.

SungJoo DND recently took on ownership of the website but it will not be there for very long after its short life. The clearance sale has items which you can buy at a 90% discount and even one of Rain’s personally designed t-shirts is now priced at $4. This is a massive, degrading blow for Rain and must be causing him a lot of embrassment.

The website has been inundated with visitors and has even become inaccessible during the last few days due to the sheer amount of numbers visiting, causing a huge amount of site traffic. It’s quite sad to think that the website is probably gaining more attention in the last few days of its existance than it ever has during these two brief years.
