Taiwanese singer Hangeng recently made an appearance on a Taiwanese program called ‘Shen Chunhua Life Show‘ where he revealed, “While with SM Entertainment, I was building so much stress that at one point, I just wanted to commit suicide.” He continued in tears, “It was just too hard, living in Korea. Having the thoughts of hanging myself in my mind was worse. Just thinking of the possibilities at the time made everything so difficult.”
Hangeng admitted that he had read about many Korean artists going on to this ‘no-turning-back’ route, and he thought about how he could relate to those artists and wanted to follow their steps. Hangeng is a very respected person and if he had really went on that no-turning-back route I would have have a grudge against SM from treating Hangeng the way they did.
