The Jung sisters managed to kill two birds with one stone at the SM Town Live ‘10 World Tour–not only did SNSD’s Jessica and f(x)’s Krystal reunite on stage for the first time since they debuted in the music industry, but they also took the opportunity to preform their first duet! Song of choice? Ke$ha’s Tik Tok. With infectious beats pumping throughout the Seoul Olympic Stadium, fun choreography, and smooth vocals, the two sisters definitely rocked this hit out of the park.

Seems like whoever recorded this video has a Jessica bias (and also the best audio quality), and I don’t blame them. I’m usually not a big fan of Jessica, since I’m not that fond of her vocals, which I consider too thin at times. But from what I see in the video, Jessica handled herself exceptionally well during this preformance, especially with some choice ad-libs (the “‘cuz they hear we got swagger” line was fun to listen to) and by oozing charisma on the stage. I also think she sounds better in English.

If you’re a Krystal fan, check out this video, which is slightly less biased (but also has really bad audio).

Overall, I’d deem this duet a success. Ke$sha’s Tik Tok has always been a crowd pleaser–I admit it’s not a good song if you really think about it, but it sure is darn catchy. Jessica and Krystal really managed to sell me the fun-loving aspect of the song and they looked like they had a ton of fun, so kudos to them for a great preformance and their first duet! May we see many more in the future!
