UVERworld is just one of those bands that can rarely do any wrong when it comes to music. As the band that got me into the genre of Japanese rock, I am always excited when they announce that a new single or album is coming our way. Well, looks like the boys are at it again, because a new single has just been announced for a release next month!

The single, entitled Qualia, will be released on September 15th. The title track of the single is set to be the theme song of the upcoming anime film entitled Gekijyouban Kidou Senshi Gundam00, which is set to release on the same day as the single. As of now, no actual audio samples of the single have been released, but a cover (shown above) and the track listing for the different versions are available. Check out the track lists below:

Not bad, right? A lot of people are intimidated when it comes to J-ROCK, but UVERworld is a group that definitely makes it accessible to a lot more people. Their work tends to lean more towards the “mainstream” style of music, thus attracting a whole host of fans. They are definitely my favorite J-ROCK band, and I hope you’re a fan now, too!
