After a heart-wrenching series of concerts across Japan for their Thanksgiving Live in Dome tour, DBSK members Jaejoong, Yoochun, Junsu, now known as trio JYJ, have just released the MV for their tentative title track, Itsudatte Kimini for their upcoming album.
Even though the MV is essentially rehashed concert footage that will probably show up in the also upcoming DVD of their tour, I don’t mind at all, because it allows us to see the pure emotion that grip all three members when they release their pent-up feelings through their singing. Combined with touching, heartfelt vocals and a gorgeous melody, this MV is practically designed to be a tear jerker.
Lyrics definitely aren’t needed in order for Jaejoong, Yoochun, and Junsu to convey how much they miss Yunho and Changmin (who else could have possibly inspired this song, after all?), but if you’re absolutely dying to know what the trio is singing about after listening to that incredibly sincere and touching preformance, here’s another video for your viewing (and crying) pleasure!
“Allow yourself to smile just for us” kind of killed me. Actually, all the lyrics pretty much killed me. Truthfully, I was digging my own grave by forcing myself to watch the whole video without tearing.
I know a lot of DBSK are upset at JYJ for splitting off from SM without Yunho or Changmin, but please smile upon all the members. They’ve all come so incredibly far.
