Only six more episodes to go! Episode 24 of King of Baking, Kim Tak Goo totally took me by surprise. My predictions seemed to be off, a lot. I really want to know how the producers managed to think of this twisted plot! They are making it more complicated than ever. I wonder what’s going to happen on the next episode. It sucks that I have to wait a week to find out (sigh). Here are the highlights: (WARNING: SPOILER ALERT)
Master’s funeral was going on, and an unexpected guest arrived: Majoon. Everyone was not happy to see him, but Misoon’s dad took him in.
When Master died, everyone who was friends with him turned their back on him. However, when the family was carrying his casket to bid him farewell, a huge group of his friends finally came to show their support.
Manager Han gathered people to overthrow Il Joong.
Majoon found a letter in the recipe book that he stole from Master. The letter was from Master to Majoon. Master told him the last task of the exam (not really a task). After reading the Majoon, he broke down and sobbed.
The same thing happened to Tak Goo, except he didn’t get a personal letter from Master. He received a big task sheet. He also cried hard.
Majoon’s mom kept pushing the arranged marriage to Majoon, but he refused.
Majoon gave Yoo Kyung his mother’s bracelet that he kept for fourteen years.
Jin Goo left the bakery.
Il Joong had dinner with Tak Goo’s mom. Majoon’s mom found out, so she followed them to the restaurant.
After dinner, Majoon’s mom followed Tak Goo’s mom. Tak Goo’s mom took her to the cliff where she fell fourteen years ago. She tried to die with Majoon’s mom, so that all the problems can be resolved. However, Il Joong stopped them. He told Tak Goo’s mom that Tak Goo is alive and is a successful baker. Just when everything seemed to be in a good place, Il Joong got concussion and passed out.
Manager Han broke into Il Joong’s room to find his share of stocks, but they were nowhere to be found.
A lawyer from GeoSung Company visited Tak Goo and gave him everything Il Joong owned, including his stock.
Tak Goo entered Majoon’s house.
OH-EM-GEE. I didn’t expect Il Joong to get sick. I do not want him to die! It is such a bad timing because Master JUST passed away on the last episode. It seemed like Il Joong expected something bad to happen, since he met up with a lawyer to make sure Tak Goo inherits everything once he dies. He was quicker than Manager Han and Majoon’s mom. YAY! Jin Goo left the bakery in order to do something for Il Joong. I am not sure what it is, but I hope to see more of that in the next couple of episodes. I think Yoo Kyung seemed to be fond of Majoon, since they spent so much time together. She shouldn’t! Just use him to get back at Majoon’s mom and dump him! Tak Goo and Yoo Kyung should get married, but I feel bad for Misoon. Tak Goo and Misoon did not make any progress since all the bad things happened to the bakery. All I want right now is keeping Il Joong alive! Tak Goo’s mom still doesn’t know where Tak Goo lives. Il Joong needs to regain consciousness to tell Tak Goo’s mom Tak Goo’s whereabouts. Wow, everything is going out of control. Sorry for rambling so much. I have too much going on in my head. This drama gives me a headache… in a good way!
