As part of Innisfree’s 10th anniversary celebrations, SNSD’s Im Yoona has been selected to promote Eco-handkerchiefs. The aim of the campaign is to encourage the use of handkerchiefs rather than tissues in order to protect our environment. With Yoona being named a CF queen, there’s no better model to advertise this message as she is already a model for Innisfree.
The singer, dancer, actress and model herself said, “With this little action of using handkerchiefs in place of paper, we can save the environment and cut down on the number of trees being felled. I hope that by me actively participating in this campaign, I can help to get more people to join in and save the earth.”
The photoshoot shows Yoona using handkerchiefs in real-life situations such as wrapping gifts and as a hand dryer for your wet hands. All the uses that you use tissues for can be replaced with a handkerchief in order to save the earth.
From August 28-29th, an ECO handkerchief exhibition displaying 16 different handkerchief designs (some designed by Yoona along with four other designers) will take place. For visitors to this exhibtion, a handkerchief will be presented. These paper alternatives will be available at Innisfree stores and online for purchase.
