Have you guys heard of Han Seok Kyu and Kim Hye Soo? I am not sure if their popularity reached far enough, but they are famous and talented actors in Korea. They have been acting for twenty years now, and these two finally teamed up to be in a new movie called “Villain on the Second Floor.”
These two recently finished filming for this upcoming movie, which by the way lasted for two months. The movie is about two people who share the same floor. Changin, Han Seok Kyu’s character, acts sweet, but he is a fraud. Kim Hye Soo’s character Yunjoo is a novelist who owns the entire second floor of the building. This suspenseful comedy film progressively shows the two characters that fight head-to-head in order to get what they want.
Han Seok Kyu commented, “Everyone worked with each other so well that I think it should be like this for other films.”
Kim Hye Soo said, “I am disappointed that filming finished so quickly. I hope everyone likes the film.”
Suspenseful comedy? This genre is something I’ve never heard of, but this is definitely a must-watch because it’s rare to see two experienced actors work together in a film. Han Seok Kyu rose to fame in the 90s because of some of the movies he was in, such as Christmas in August and Shiri. He was one of those sweet romantic guys that everyone wanted a piece of. Kim Hye Soo, on the other hand, rose to fame a long time ago too, but she is mostly known for her sexy figure (This is not a bad thing by the way). I hope this movie comes out soon!
