Listen up, Super Junior fans! Siwon and Donghae were both cast as the leading male roles of a new Taiwanese drama called Glamorous Challenge!

The name of the drama might not sound familiar to you at first, but this is actually a television adaptation of a Japanese manga series Skip Beat. A boy betrays his longtime girlfriend. In order to get her revenge, she decides to become a celebrity just like his ex.

The main female role will go to Taiwanese actress Lin Yichen. This actually isn’t the first time the three of them worked together. Siwon and Donghae made an appearance in Lin Yichen’s music video for her song “Firefly” in the past. Because of their past experience, the two were able to be cast as the leading male roles!

Siwon will play a jerk that dumps his girlfriend for his job as a celebrity. Donghae will also play a famous celebrity known for his looks and acting skills. Siwon had some experience in acting before, but as for Donghae, it will be his first time.

I’ve known this manga series for a long time, but I never gave it a try because I felt so lazy. Now, I feel like I should get a jump-start and begin reading in order to understand the story. But then again, it’s better not to compare the manga and the television drama. Either way, I am super excited to see BOTH Siwon and Donghae act in the same drama! Them speaking in Mandarin is going to be HOT, HOT, and HOT!
