After threatening to takelegal action against netizens that have ardently refuted his claims of having a master’s degree from the prestigious Stanford University, Epik High leader Tablo has finally had it! Keep reading for details on what Tablo plans to do next!
Tablo has reportedly filed a case that may charge twenty-two netizens for defamation. All parties in question are from an internet cafe called TaJinYo, which stands for We Request the Truth From Tablo. The cafe currently has over 125,000 members with 32,000 posts regarding the illegitimacy of Tablo’s educational claims.
A representative from the prosecution said in a statement that, “We’ve recently received the case and have started investigations. We’ve sent the case to the police and are currently leading the investigations.” Meanwhile, a police official expanded upon the matter, saying that, “After we check the illegality of the posts and IDs being charged, we will move on to summoning them for further investigation.”
Of course, as you all know from my previous article, the fan cafe has already filed a lawsuit of themselves against the controversial Korean rapper. I’m no legal expert, but I expect this situation to get very ugly, very fast…
Best wishes to Tablo, and I hope that justice comes out on top! Keep following Ningin for new developments in the case!
