Davichi member Kang Min Kyung announced that she will be playing the main character in an upcoming SBS drama titled, ‘Smile Mom.’ The drama is a typical family drama where the mother works hard for the success of her child but later the mother finds out that her daughter has an incurable disease.

A pretty cliched drama if you ask me, but simple dramas are usually the best. Kang Min Kyung will play a character called Shin Dal Lae where she will have a weak but strong persona. This means that she will appear weak to others but she is actually very independent and strong. The first episode will debut on November 6th.

I haven’t heard of the Davichi pair in a long time and I am really excited for this drama. I hope she gets to showcase her powerful vocals in at least one episode. What do you guys think?
