Playful Kiss was one of the three dramas that netizens have been anticipating lately (the other two were SungKyunKwan Scandal and My GirlFriend is a Nine-Tailed Fox). Surprisingly, both SungKyunKwan Scandal and Playful Kiss hit all time lows by receiving the lowest ratings possible. MBC’s Playful Kiss, which was aired on September 1st, received a pathetic rating of 3.5%.

What’s worse is that it earned even lower rating than its previous drama, Road No. 1. I knew it wasn’t going to be able to defeat King of Baking, Kim Tak Goo (both of them are aired in the same time slot), but I didn’t know it was this bad.

The two dramas that everyone was looking forward to did not turn out to be what they expected. I personally did not like Playful Kiss because I thought it was a bit childish and not interesting whatsoever. When King of Baking ends, hopefully the ratings increase dramatically. However, until then, the drama will have to suffer for a while
