Jessie Chiang is set to make a comeback with the release of her second album on September 10. She has always worked with Jay Chou, but this will be the first time she will be going on her own. She recently released the music video to her song, This is Not Love, and I have to say, the minute she started singing I was extremely disappointed. Auto-tune is already a problem, but it was so unnecessary in this song, she’s got such a beautiful voice, and this song is meant to be soft and pretty, but the auto-tune really puts a damper on that effect. Listen for yourself.

I am not saying this song is bad, because I actually think it is quite cute, I’m just having some trouble getting passed the auto-tune of it all. I also couldn’t really follow the storyline of the music video. What did you guys think?
